Who we are and what we do....

Founded in 2005, StageWorks, Inc. is dedicated to the idea that the arts are the heart and soul of a community. We encourage people of all backgrounds and skill-levels to participate in the experience of live theatre and hope to help build an increased appreciation for the dramatic and performing arts.

StageWorks delights in focusing on stories that reflect our small town culture, rich in the exchange between everyday people, as well as plays and activities that reflect our Southern heritage, from classic works by Southern writers and playwrights to characterizations in cemetery and museum shows. For good measure, we will throw in a classical play from time to time in honor of the roots of the dramatic arts. And we have been known to perform dinner theatre shows. We believe it is possible to do quality shows and have fun at the same time.
